Web Application Technologies

VAAP will be making extensive use of the vars API hosted at http://code.google.com/p/vars-redux/. Since this is a pure Java API, the Web Application stack will also be written in Java to leverage as much as existing code as possible. In this wiki page, I'll be taking notes to help define the web technologies to use when developing VAAP.

I've been working through the Wicket in Action book. Since there is a very nice separation between the presentation layer and the Java code, this would allow me to pull in external designers to work on this. I'm going to use wicket as the presentation layer.
